Frequently Asked Questions

Infant Car Seat Adapters

  • Visit our Infant Car Seat Adapter page to determine which adapter is compatible with your stroller.

  • No. BOB Gear Duallie strollers made before 2006 have a single canopy over both stroller seats, and there is no attachment point at the center of the stroller, which is necessary for using an infant car seat adapter.

  • No. If you have a newer stroller with built-in accessory adapters, older Infant Car Seat Adapters and Snack Trays will not work.

  • Our Infant Car Seat Adapters for strollers made in 2011 or later are brand- and model-specific to the most popular infant car seats. This helps ensure a secure and custom fit for each car seat. However, fewer car seats are compatible with the newer Duallie strollers because these strollers have narrower seats, which helps them fit through doorways that are less than 32 inches wide.

  • No. The BOB Gear Duallie Infant Car Seat Adapter is designed for one car seat. It is not possible to fit two car seats side-by-side while keeping the stroller’s overall width under 32 inches. However, you can use a car seat on one side and a Snack Tray on the other.

Stroller Accessories

  • No. Due to the additional height from the infant car seat, it is not possible to install the Weather Shield or Sun Shield over a stroller while a car seat is attached with an Infant Car Seat Adapter. These shields are designed to fit over the stroller when the Snack Tray is installed and the child is sitting in the stroller seat.

  • Snack Trays for strollers made between 2007 and 2010 were sold with Infant Car Seat Adapters. If you would like to purchase a Snack Tray separately, please contact our Customer Service Team.

  • Yes. For strollers manufactured after 2011 with an Accessory Adapter, the Snack Tray "clicks" into place for easy installation and folds with the stroller. Snack Trays are available for both single and Duallie strollers - visit https://www.bobgear.com/all-accessories#snacktrays

  • Older accessories are not compatible with newer models. The new Infant Car Seat Adapters and Snack Trays "click" into place, making installation quick and easy. Be sure to check the accessory’s product detail page to verify stroller compatibility before purchasing.
